Meet Dr. Rummel

Dr. Ted Rummel, an active orthopedic surgeon at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St.Louis, Missouri, became paralyzed from the waist down after a blood filled sac burst in his spinal cord, Just over a year later, he returned to the operating room. A true “beating ridiculous odds” story, it reminds us that we are capable of overcoming life’s obstacles, whether they be hitches or total FUBARs.
