For Star Wars fans of every generation, the back story of the series favorite smuggler and scoundrel has possessed a certain mystery. Within the scope of the live-action film adaptation of the iconic saga, the audience has only been given minor snippets of Han’s past.

Spider-Man is one of the legacy super hero franchises in Western Culture, and Spider-Man: Homecoming is as densely packed as one would expect from a summer blockbuster. A story that picks up in the aftermath of the so-called Battle of New York, Adrian Toomes loses a government contract to cleanup the devastated city to mogul entrepreneur, Tony Stark – best known as Iron Man. Toomes in his search for vengeance retrains Chitauri technology in hopes to build and sell advanced weapons systems. In a story that encompasses a larger superhero universe, Peter Parker – Spider-Man – is swept up into greater acts of super hero prowess to thwart the dangerous designs of Adrian Toomes.
