Operation Pangolin Liberation

Customs Officers rescued over 100 pangolins – commonly called the scaly anteater – from two individuals trying to smuggle them from Thailand.  Despite its “endangered” status, people seek the Pangolin as both a culinary delicacy and for use in traditional medicines for various maladies.
