When U.S. Army Sgt. Jason Bos when home following a back injury, he wasn’t sure if he’d see Cici again. Cici, however, was not a friend met abroad but rather his faithful, four-legged “battle-buddy”. Cici, short for Cila, was a trained a bomb-sniffing dog and Bos was her handler. Now, two years after their goodbyes, Bos and Cici are reunited following Cici’s retirement from service. If Bos had any doubts if Cici would remember her longtime buddy they were erased the moment she heard his voice at O’Hare Airport.
