Meet Carmen. She’s 83 and just snagged her latest magazine cover for New You. She began modeling at thirteen, posing for Salvador Dali, and moved on to the cover of Vogue at fifteen. However, it’s in the last 25 years – that is, since she turned 58 – that she has been the most active, defying the traditionally youth-centered industry. Carmen doesn’t just sit and look pretty, either. She still walks the high-fashion runways of the fashion world for such designers as Christian Dior and Jean-Paul Gaultier.
